As a native New Yorker, I have a really high bar for Jewish Deli food. After moving to San Francisco, everyone told me about the famous Wise Sons, the modern Jewish deli by the bay. I've been addicted ever since. These guys handcraft some of the greatest tasting Pastrami, Corned Beef and Babka anywhere in these United States!

Located in San Francisco’s legendary Mission District, Wise Sons represents part of the new wave of Jewish delis taking over the nation. What started as a pop-up with tons of buzz, this icon-in-the-making is the Mission’s first Jewish deli. Named one of “America’s Best Delis” by Food & Wine, Wise Sons is leading the modern Jewish food movement with their hand-sliced pastrami brined in a proprietary blend of spices and house-cured pickles. Dedicated to authenticity, Wise Sons even bakes their own breads, making them stand out among most delis today. From swirled Guittard chocolate babka to perfectly glazed challahs (they even make a mighty fine bagel), their small-batch baked goods make stunning centerpieces on their own.

We're not the only ones who love them!

Wise Sons has been featured in Bon Appetit Magazine, The New York Times, Food & Wine Magazine, the Wall Street Journal, Eater and The San Francisco Chronicle.
