The Pickle Guys

New York's Pickle Artisans

The name says it all—these are THE pickle guys! Located on the Lower East Side in an area that used to be known as “pickle alley,” owner Alan Kaufman makes pickles with an old Eastern European recipe “just the way mom used to make them.” Pickles are cured in a barrel with a salt brine with garlic and spices for as long as six months. From new to fully soured, you’re guaranteed that perfect snap in each bite. Over the years, they’ve expanded into pickling tomatoes, pineapples, mangoes, olives, peppers and so much more. So if you’re ever in a pickle for pickles, you know where to get them!

We're not the only ones who love them!

The Pickle Guys has been featured in New York Magazine, Food Network, The Today Show, The Travel Channel and in the Adam Sandler and Steve Buscemi movie The Cobbler.
