The Comfy Cow

Southern Inspired, Craft Made Ice Cream
The Comfy Cow
Their Bourbon Ball Ice Cream is THE cure to the summer heat. It's filled with delicious bourbon ice cream with bourbon balls mixed in. Kentucky Bourbon plus ice cream is a win-win for all.
David Ariel - The Al Roker of Food

There are only a handful of occasions where eating an unsightly amount of ice cream is socially acceptable. Breakups. Study breaks. Late-night snack attacks. And anytime there’s a pint of Comfy Cow in your freezer.

At Louisville’s The Comfy Cow, ice cream is a serious passion project. Talk to owners Tim and Roy and instantly they’ll wax poetic, or perhaps more accurately, churn poetic about their small batch flavors inspired by childhood tastes and regional traditions. Their ice cream is a canvas for outrageous flavors featuring anything from Georgia pecans to a healthy splash of local bourbon or Earl Grey tea. Have it for dinner. Have it for afternoon tea. Have it for second breakfast. We’re not quite sure where to draw the line with this stuff.

We're not the only ones who love them!

The Comfy Cow has been featured in Southern Living Magazine as one of their Top Frozen Desserts as well as in Louisville Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, Garden and Gun, Saveur and on Buzzfeed.
