When it comes to Buffalo wings, there are tons of imitators but only one original. By original, I'm talking about the inventors, the O.G. (original gangsters) of tangy, spicy, juicy, wingy, crunchiness. In my book, this is one of the most amazing flavors known to man.

On one legendary night in 1964, Dominic Bellissimo, a bartender at Anchor Bar, asked his mom, Teressa, to make him and a group of his friends something quick to eat. Using what she had on hand (always the beginning of the greatest food creations), Teressa deep fried some chicken wings, which were considered a throw-away food at the time, and flavored them with Frank’s RedHot Sauce and butter. They were, of course, a finger lickin’ instant hit and soon became a permanent addition to their menu and American hearts everywhere.
