Sanders Candy

Sanders Candy makes the Cadillac of chocolate confections. It was founded by Fred Sanders in 1875 in downtown Detroit. Sanders soon became one of the Midwest’s most legendary confection makers. Their fudgy toppings go great with tart apples, ice cream, brownies or straight on a spoon for that instant hit of creamy chocolate bliss. This couldn’t be more Detroit if it tried. Henry Ford even lent a hand in the early days before starting Ford Motor Company nearby. We can only assume he built his factory to be only a drive’s distance away on purpose.

We're not the only ones who love them!

Sanders has been featured on several occasions on the Food Network, in Midwest Living Magazine, and is regularly on the list of Detroit's most iconic foods.
