Pappy's Smokehouse

Named Food Network's 'Best Ribs in America'
Pappy's Smokehouse

Their address might say St. Louis, but Pappy's BBQ is all Memphis. One bite and you'll see why their ribs have been called the best in America!
Frank Luciano - The Sultan of Sandwich

We thought the nation’s top Memphis BBQ would actually be in Memphis… inside Tennessee’s borders at the very least. We were wrong. And Pappy’s Smokehouse has the rack to prove it. Pappy’s pitmaster, Skip Steele, smokes slabs of dry rubbed ribs for 4 hours over apple and cherry wood, giving the pork a sweeter smoke. His ribs have racked up the honors, including Food Network’s Top 5 BBQ Ribs in America. It’s just one of the reasons why there’s a line out the door each day. And when that last slab is pulled out of the smoker, Pappy’s closes up shop, which means no ribs for you. Luckily, we’ve reserved a spot in line for you behind some of Pappy’s famous friends, Jimmy Kimmel, Willie Nelson and Flavor Flav.

As if Pappy’s pork ever needed a hype man.

We're not the only ones who love them!

Pappy's Smokehouse was chosen as having the best Ribs in America by the Food Network and been featured in the Huffington Post, The Daily Meal, Thrillist, The Wendy Williams Show and The Travel Channel's Man vs. Food.
