Nene's Treats

Down Home Style Crumb Cakes
Nene's Treats
Joe
There is nothing like a New Jersey style crumb cake! It's one of my all time faves. It's chewy and crumbly and perfectly decadent. Three generations of the lovely ladies from Nene's Treats add a little southern charm and creativity stepping up the old school crumb cake game up to new heights.

Marie Felice, better known to the world as Nene (a nickname given to her by her grandson), started baking as a little girl with her mom in the 1930s, and hasn’t stopped! She developed her secret crumb cake recipe in her home state of New Jersey over 50 years ago, and it has withstood the test of time. If you’re craving classic crumb cake, look no further.

Nene, her daughter and granddaughter, have been making scrumptious, preservative-free crumb cakes from their home in Charleston, South Carolina, where, every day, the trio rolls up their sleeves and bakes together. You can taste the laughter and love these three ladies put into their cakes!

We're not the only ones who love them!

Nene's Treats has been featured in The New York Times, Avenue Magazine, Quest Magazine & Sidelines Magazine. Nene's crumb cakes are served in many Charleston bakeries and restaurants.
