The Official Pastrami Sandwich of Los Angeles

There are a lot of things that make this NY-style Jewish deli so unique. For one thing… it’s in LA! Wait, wait, wait—before you discount it, there’s a reason why it’s been around for over 65 years, serving locals and expats missing that little corner of Manhattan. And that reason is pastrami.

It turns out that the craft of fine pastrami-making is not dependent on a gruff Brooklyn-accent or the mystical New York tap water like some of the city’s other delicacies. It’s about knowing how to handle that slab of beautiful beef and that’s what Langer’s has always been about.

We're not the only ones who love them!

Langer's Deli is a recipient of the James Beard Foundation Award and a favorite of Tom Hanks. It has also been featured on the Food Network program “The Best Thing I Ever Ate,” as well as in LAWeekly, The Los Angeles Times, The New Yorker, Thrillist, The Huffington Post, Saveur, LA Magazine and NPR.
