Hawaii Tart Company

Home of the Famous Honey Caramel Mac Nut Tart

Discover the fusion of the finest Hawaiian ingredients and classical French pastry technique with Hawaii Tart Company’s delicious macadamia nut tart. Started by Martha Brahm, a graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in 1976 (when few women attended), Martha now applies her classical culinary training and French pastry techniques to the fabulous ingredients of the islands.

On moving to Hawaii, Martha was inspired by the local ingredients and developed a Honey Caramel Macadamia Nut Tart to highlight the local bounty of macadamia nuts and honey. The Hawaii Tart Company quickly became the pie vendor at the busiest farmer’s market on the Big Island.

In 2014, Martha and her partner bought the deserted, overgrown MacNut Grove Farm and brought it back to production, planting lilikoi (passion fruit), papaya, coffee, and spices, and nurturing the existing macadamia nut trees. With help from her two sons, Martha loves that she can share the fruits of Hawaii’s tropical paradise with people like you!
