Originally a speakeasy opened in 1927, Gallaghers was the first steakhouse to open its doors on Broadway and is still located only steps from the light’s of NYC’s Times Square. In addition to being the only restaurant in the city to grill its steaks over hickory coals, all of Gallaghers’ steaks are dry aged in house for 21+ days in their own humidity controlled meat locker; an iconic feature in its own right, as anyone walking past the locker’s window on 52nd street is well aware of.
