Cootie Brown's two layered pies are a complete game changer! Tart, but not too tart. Sweet, yet not too sweet. And oh so so creamy... I loved their key lime and seasonal pumpkin pie, but you really can't go wrong with any flavor!

Much like our very own Captain Goldbely, “Cootie Brown” takes the helm at this Tennessee restaurant, creating an eclectic mix of dishes inspired from his travels around the world. Since 1999, Cootie Brown’s has brought bold diverse flavors and a bit of funk to Johnson City. From New Orleans Muffaletta and Caribbean Jamaican Jerk Chicken to Mexican Tamales and Memphis style BBQ, Cootie Brown has defined an experience quite unlike anything else. But it’s their line of homemade desserts that really showcases their unconventional creativity—each pie is a double layer masterpiece. Their most famous Key Lime pie is handmade from scratch and features one tart key lime layer and a second sweet, creamy layer. It’s seriously a one of a kind!

We're not the only ones who love them!

Cootie Brown's has been featured in the Bristol Herald Courier, Johnson City Press, Kingsport Times News, Johnson City News and Neighbor.
