Coolhaus

Architecturally Inspired Ice Cream Treats
Coolhaus
Meet my LA ice cream shop crush. They create the wackiest and most amazing flavor profiles swirled into ice cream I've ever seen, magically taking foods I already love (like fried chicken, cheddar pop corn and cookie dough) and actually making them better. If anyone can pull this off, it's Coolhaus, in the most chill and hip way possible too.
Vanessa Torrivilla - The Pie Pimp

Natasha and Freya started baking cookies and making ice cream in Freya’s mom’s kitchen in the fall of 2008. They named the flavor combinations after architects and architectural movements they were inspired by.These little frozen treats may be minimalist in style, but pack a punch with their creative flavor combinations. I mean, Balsamic Fig and Mascarpone?!

At Coolhaus, first and foremost is their dedication to quality and sustainability. Every thing they create is all-natural, handmade and organic whenever possible. Plus, every ice cream sandwich is wrapped in a customizable, edible wrapper that is all-natural and calorie-free. This, in fact, is real life.

We're not the only ones who love them!

Coolhaus has been featured in the New York Times, Time Magazine, Time Out Magazine, The Village Voice, Gothamist, The Atlantic, The Daily News, Huffington Post, Tasting Table, Daily Candy, Zagat, Grub Street, Fast Company, Food Network and Good Morning America.
