Catsmo Artisan Smokehouse began with an obsession—founder Robert Simon’s love for fishing. For years, Robert would return home from a trip to New York’s Finger Lakes or the Florida Keys with far too much fresh fish for his family. Smoking became the only way to preserve his catch. With over 20 years of experience, Catsmo’s smoked salmon now is the best of the best. Every day, fresh catch from the North Atlantic is carefully salted by hand and then cold-smoked on fruit and oak woods at Catsmo’s Catskill Mountain facility. The result is a deep orange colored salmon that is smooth, silky and buttery in texture. It is no wonder that world renowned chef Daniel Boulud has partnered with Catsmo to produce a premium line of smoked Scottish salmon!
